Hamm & Bullock

Jon Hamm, the actor best known as Mad Men’s lothario ad man Don Draper, is set to lend his vocal talents to Despicable Me spin-off Minions.  He’ll voice the character called Herb Overkill the husband and inventor for villain Scarlett Overkill (it’s not clear if she took his name of vice versa) who will be voiced by Sandra Bullock.  The film is set in 1960, before the little yellow minions met Gru, and sees the accident-prone minions heading to a villain convention in search of a new master where they meet Scarlett.  The film is being directed by Despicable Me director Pierre Coffin with a script by Brian Lynch and Kyle Balda.  Before that Hamm is heading to India to shoot baseball movie MillionDollar Arm.  Source – Deadline

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
