Harrison Ford In Bruce Willis Out For Expendables 3

Harrison Ford, soon to be seen dealing with pesky kids in Ender’s Game, has joined the cast of The Expendables 3.  Sylvester Stallone, the man behind Expendables, tweeted that Ford, as were the increasing rumours, had joined the cast but Bruce Willis would not be returning for a third time.

Since 2010’s The Expendables, one of the key highlights to the franchise is which aging action hero Sly Stallone would manage to recruit.  Ford seems to be quite a coup.  Quite what happened to Mr. Willis is anyone’s guess but it could be that Ford is taking over Willis’ CIA responsibilities.

The film is being directed by Red Hill’s Patrick Hughes and already boasts the likes of Mickey Rourke, Milla Jovovich, Wesley Snipes as well as rumours of stars such as Jackie Chan and Mel Gibson.  It’s also assumed that the likes of Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham and Terry Crews will be returning.  Of course there’s also the strong possibility that Arnold Schwarzenegger will return and will soon be seen on screen with Stallone in prison thriller Escape Plane.

Ford meanwhile has recently hinted that he thinks Indian Jones will be back on screens before long and will soon be seen opposite Gary Oldman and Liam Hemsworth for thriller Paranoia.  Then there is the smaller matter of returning to a franchise called Star Wars.  Source – Sylvester Stallone via Twitter
