Kristen Stewart & Jesse Eisenberg To Team For American Ultra

Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, the stars last seen in Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 and Now You See Me, are set to join forces for action-comedy American Ultra.  Written by Chronicle writer Max Landis and directed by Project X helmer Nima Nourizadeh, American Ultra will see Eisenberg as a slacker stoner living with his girlfriend in a sleepy town but one night his past catches up with him and the government has plans to take him out.  Sounds a little like a stoner Bourne Identity which could have legs.  Before he gets his bong on Eisenberg will soon be seen in Richard Ayoade’s The Double while Stewart has been going down the indie path recently with films such as Camp X-Ray and Sils Maria.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
