Liam Neeson In Talks For Taken 3

Liam Neeson, not seen on screen since 2012’s Taken 2 but soon to appear in A Walk Among The Tombstones, is in talks for Taken 3.  After the last film in the franchise Neeson said he was unlikely to return for a third film as he couldn’t see where the franchise could go.  But it seems writer and producer Luc Besson has come up with a place Neeson’s Bryan Mills can go an is willing to bet $20 million on Neeson to get him to offer kidnappers threatening phone calls.  Besson and writing partner Robert Mark Kamen will write the script before looking to find a director for the film.  They will also try and lure Famke Jansen and Maggie Grace for more hiding in small spaces and trying not to scream as the bad guys look for them.  Where the story will go this time is anyone’s guess but given Taken 2 made $374 million at the box office off a $45 million budget a sequel was as likely as Neeson showing his unique set of skills.  Before that though Neeson will be seen in another action role with Non-Stop which comes out later this year.  Source – Deadline
