On Ultra-Violet enabled Blu-ray, DVD and download to own and rent from December 23

Amanda Seyfried, Peter Sarsgaard, and Sharon Stone star in the critically-acclaimed LOVELACE. Out to own and rent on Blu-ray and DVD from December 23, LOVELACE is based on the true story of porn icon and star of Deep Throat Linda Boreman, better known by her stage name ‘Linda Lovelace’.

In 1972, before the internet, before the explosion of the adult film industry, Deep Throat was a phenomenon: the first scripted pornographic theatrical feature film, featuring a story, some jokes, and an unknown and unlikely star: Linda Lovelace (Seyfried; Les Miserables).

Escaping a strict religious family, Linda discovered freedom and the high life when she fell for and married charismatic hustler, Chuck Traynor (Sarsgaard; TVs The Killing). As Linda Lovelace she became an international sensation, less centre-fold fantasy than a charming girl-next-door with some ‘impressive skills’. Six years later she presented another, utterly contradictory, narrative to the world – and herself – as the survivor of a much darker story.

LOVELACE is directed by Academy Award winner Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Howl!) and the impressive lineup is completed by Emmy Award winner Hank Azaria (TVs The Simpsons), BAFTA winner Juno Temple (The Dark Night Rises), Adam Brody (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World), Academy Award nominee James Franco (127 hours) Golden Globe nominee Chris Noth (Sex & The City), Emmy Award Winner Bobby Cannavale (TVs Nurse Jackie), Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games), Robert Patrick (Gangster Squad), Eric Roberts (The Expendables, The Dark Night), and Academy Award nominee Chloe Sevigny (Boys Don’t Cry).
