Milla Jovovich Could Join The Expendables

Milla Jovovich, no stranger to action having starred in the Resident Evil franchise and such films as The Fifth Element, is in advance talks to join The Expendables 3.  The news doesn’t come as a huge surprise as Expendables creator and leading man Sylvester Stallone has recently said he wanted to add a stronger female element to proceedings.  There are also rumours that Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes and Jackie Chan are also all said to be in talks to join the franchise although whether they will sign deals remains to be seen.  The latest film is being directed by Red Hill’s Patrick Hughes and while it’s not clear if the likes of Jason Statham will return it is known that Mickey Rourke is returning having sat out the second film.  Jovovich meanwhile will next be seen in The Winter Queen before heading off to Resident Evil 6.  Source – The Wrap

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
