Rogen & Goldberg To Sell Out

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the writing / producing / directing pair behind this summer’s This Is The End, are turning their attention to new projects in the form of Sell Out.  The story, which was written by Saturday Night Live veteran Simon Rich, sees a fictionalised version of Rich meet his great-great-great-grandfather who, after an accident at a pickle factor, has been preserved in brine for nearly a century.  Finding himself in a modern world, the grandfather has to come to terms with how his relative makes money from being a script doctor in Manhattan not to mention modern technology and hipsters!  Rogen isn’t planning on starring in the film but he and Goldberg will produce and potentially write the script.  They are however more involved in The Interview which will see Rogen as a producer of a talk show hosted by James Franco who become involved in a plot to kill the Korean Prime Minister.  This Is The End is released here on 28th June and you can see the trailer below.  Source – The Wrap

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
