1.
Out Of Sight (1998)
As hard as it is to believe, this scene does in fact
star Jennifer Lopez, before she became Jenny From The Block, and the
predictably sexy Mr. Clooney. The sizzling chemistry of the two onscreen is
made all the more palpable by director Steven Soderberg’s brilliant use of over-lapping
dialogue, meaning the scene plays out simultaneously to the flirtations before
hand.

Rear Window (1954)
Hitchcock had a thing for blondes and who could blame
him when he had Grace Kelly strutting her stuff in his films. This is one of
the most iconic entrances in cinematic history made all the more delectable by
Kelly and Stewart’s softly spoken greeting. It is also one of the only times
you are likely to see a leading lady light herself for the shot.

Wild Things (1998)
Two girls, one swimming pool, need we say more?
Suffice to say that Wild Things is one of those under appreciated twisty turny
thrillers that has the added bonus of having at least two sexual encounters
with Neve Campbell and Denise Richards.

Closer (2004)
In truth there are countless scenes in Closer that
could have made this list but the scene in question sees Natalie Portman as a
stripper. By all accounts it should be seedy and sleazy but thanks to Natalie
Portman’s nymph ways and sexual prowess she causes Clive Owen, and us, to melt.

5.
The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989)
Who would have thought that the site of Michelle
Pfeiffer singing on a piano could have quite so much impact. But her sultry
looks, that red dress and her husky vocal makes this quintessentially sexy.
Never before have so many people longed to be a musical instrument.

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996)
You would think that Salma Hayek as a blood sucking
vampire would not be the most sexy thing you can think of. That is until you
see her as Santanico Pandemonium, the seductive dancer at vampire infested bar
The Titty Twister. She even finds time to indulge Quentin Tarantino’s foot
fetish.

7.
Dr. No (1962)
One for the ages and a scene that has been rifted on
and paid homage to in countless other movies. In the first official Bond movie
Ursula Andress puts the ‘Girl’ into Bond Girl. Daniel Craig and Halle Berry
could never even come close to matching Andress sheer magnetism.

The Thomas Crown Affair (1968)
And you thought chess was a boring game. Not so in
the hands of Faye Dunaway, Steve McQueen and director Norman Jewison. It’s the
stolen glances across the table, the perfect reflection of the game of cat and
mouse the couple have been playing and the sexual close-ups as McQueen realises
he has met his match in Dunaway’s siren.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)
All couples fight. They just don’t literally fight,
tearing up the house in the process before finally resorting to aggressive
make-up sex. Of course this scene is aided by two of Hollywood’s sexiest. It
doesn’t hurt that we now know they were probably having their own fun off
camera as well.

10. Mulholland
Drive (2001)
One for the ages this one, as it saw the rise of a Hollywood
darling in the shape of Naomi Watts. In David Lynch’s stunning film she gives
shelter to the amnesiac actress, played with femme fatale ambiguity by Laura
Harring, and soon finds herself sharing a bed with the starlet. The rest is
delightfully seductive, innocent and tender. Coming from the man who gave us
Eraserhead (1977) this is something of a revelation.
