Star Wars VII Finally Announce Full Cast

It seems like it was never going to happen or at least if it was it was in a galaxy far, far away but we now know the key cast members of Star Wars VII. It’s been rumoured for some time that the likes of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Anthony Daniels would all be returning to their iconic roles of the original franchise but the real news is the set of new cast members that have now been revealed like an evil Senator who has turned to the dark side. Some have been rumoured prior to today’s official announcement like Girl’s Adam Driver as well as Attack The Block’s John Boyega but the likes of Andy Serkis, Max Von Sydow and Domnhall Gleeson are all new to the fold. Oscar Isaac, the Inside Llewyn Davis star, was rumoured as early as this week while newcomer Daisy Ridley is already sparking fan speculation that she could be playing the offspring of Han Solo and Princess Leia. JJ Abrams is directing the latest episode in the Star Wars franchise so expect plot details to be wrapped up tighter than rebel soldier on the planet Hoth. The film is scheduled for release in 2015. Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
