Yorgos Lanthimos’s THE LOBSTER, 2016 BAFTA nominated for Outstanding British Film, will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital  on 8 February 2016 by Picturehouse Entertainment and Element Pictures Distribution.

Winner of Best Supporting Actress for Olivia Coleman at the British Independent Film Awards, the darkly funny love story, THE LOBSTER, stars Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz with a stellar supporting cast including Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, John C.Reilly, Olivia Colman, Michael Smiley and Ashley Jensen.

Winner of the Jury Prize at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and nominated for seven awards at the British Independent Film Awards, the film has now passed £1m at the UK Box Office and currently stands at        £1.3m (approx.). THE LOBSTER is a love story set in the near future where single people, according to the rules of The City, are arrested and transferred to The Hotel.  There they are obliged to find a mate in 45 days.  If they fail, they are transformed into an animal of their choosing and released into The Woods.  A desperate Man (Farrell) escapes from The Hotel to The Woods where The Loners live and falls in love, although it is against their rules.

Unconventional, original and hilarious, THE LOBSTER is one of the must-see films of the year and is released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital in the UK and Ireland on 8 February 2016.  Special features are currently TBC.
