THE HUGELY anticipated final series of the TV phenomenon Broadchurch arrives on DVD and Blu-ray following its run on ITV. Broadchurch Complete Series 1 -3 Box Set will also be released in both formats courtesy of Acorn Media International.
Penned by acclaimed writer Chris Chibnall (Torchwood), the third and final series of Broadchurch, ITV’s multi award-winning drama sees David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Olivia Colman (The Night Manager) reprise their roles as the dynamic duo DI Alec Hardy and DS Ellie Miller, as they are called in to investigate a new case – the brutal sexual assault of a local woman, Trish Winterman (Julie Hesmondhalgh – Coronation Street).
Three years have passed in a town that will never forget; but times change. The local newspaper, once the backbone of Broadchurch, is facing closure, and DI Alec Hardy with DS Ellie Miller are about to take on a case that reopens old wounds and divides the town in ways they could never have predicted.

Jodie Whittaker (The Smoke) and Andrew Buchan (Garrow’s Law) return to play Beth and Mark Latimer and are joined by National Television Award winner Julie Hesmondhalgh, BAFTA winners Lenny Henry (The Syndicate) and Georgina Campbell (Murdered By My Boyfriend) along with Sarah Parish (Mistresses), Charlie Higson (The Fast Show) and Mark Bazeley (The Bourne Ultimatum).
Other returning cast include Arthur Darvill (Little Dorrit) as Vicar Paul Coates, Carolyn Pickles (Land Girls) as newspaper editor Maggie Radcliffe and Adam Wilson (Mr Selfridge) as Ellie’s son Tom.
The game-changing British TV series, had the nation on the edge of its seat for some two years and now it returns for its final gripping, unmissable finale.
The debut series of Broadchurch was ITV’s highest rated new drama of 2013 winning a peak audience of some 10.5 million viewers and the second series was ITV’s highest rated drama of 2015, with its premiere delivering viewing figures of more than 10.9 million. The programme remains as ITV’s most tweeted drama since records began.
Broadchurch Series Three arrives in both Blu-ray and DVD formats as two-disc sets complete with special features, on 24 April 2017. Also released on the same date will be Broadchurch Complete Series 1 – 3 on DVD and Blu-ray; with additional content on the Blu-ray release featuring series one audio commentaries and deleted scenes.
