Fast & Furious 7 Looks To Add Kurt Russell

In News by Alex Moss Editor

Kurt Russell, no stranger to fast moving cars and vehicular murder thanks to his turn in Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, is in talks to join Fast & Furious 7.  Little is known about the role Russell could potentially play other than rumour has it, it was offered to a certain Denzel Washington at one point.   What is known about the film is that Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson will all return, with presumably the likes of Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster to follow, having to face off against a suitably angry Jason Statham for the death of his brother Luke Evans in Fast & Furious 6.  Justin Lin, who has directed all the films since Part 4, is no longer involved on a director level, instead making way for Saw and Insidious director James Wan to take over the reins.  Before he revs up for that though Russell will next be seen in comedy The Art Of The Steal before getting all horror western in Bone Tomahawk.  Source – Variety
