G.I. Joe Getting A Third Instalment

G.I.Joe, despite taking a bit of a pounding from critics with its last outing Retaliation, is set to get a third instalment in the franchise.  It seems the negative reviews didn’t stop people getting a kick to the sum of a $365 million global box office and that’s enough for studio Paramount to green light a new film and have already secured Retaliation director Jon M. Chu to return for the film.  It is also expected that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will also return to his role as newly appointed leader of the Joes but with no script yet written nothing is known about the plot.  Though it’s likely we’ll see Johnson’s Roadblock having to band together a team of Joes to stop the evil Cobra’s threats to the world.  So, what do you think?  Do we need more G.I. Joe or should the old toys be put back in the box?  Let us know in the comments below.  Source – Deadline

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
