Guardians Recruit A Lovibond

Ophelia Lovibond, the British actress best known for No Strings Attached and Mr. Popper’s Penguins, has signed up for Guardians Of The Galaxy.  While she won’t be joining the actual Guardians Lovibond will instead play the assistant to The Collector, aka Taneleer Tivan, one of the oldest beings in the galaxy who helps the Guardians in defeating Thanos.  So it would seem Lovibond is taking on the Maria Hill, as played by Cobie Smulders, of Avengers for the Guardians.  Before that Lovibond has A Single Shot coming out later this year opposite Sam Rockwell.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter
