The Incredibles 2 Is A GO!

Frankly one of Pixar’s best and often overlooked masterpieces The Incredibles could be partially responsible for the massive resurgence in the superhero craze so it seems only right that the film should get a sequel.  The news came out of Disney’s shareholder meeting today with Company Chief Bob Iger announcing that The Incredibles 2 was in the pipeline with original creator and director Brad Bird set to write the script.  There’s no word if he will return for directing duties as these days he’s more of a live-action man having directed Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and currently in production on George Clooney starrer Tomorrowland.  Either way the news that Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and the whole family will be causing mayhem on the big screen is very welcome news.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
