Lily Collins To Battle Pride, Prejudice & Zombies

Lily Collins, daughter of Phil and star of films such as Abduction and Mirror Mirror, is in talks to take the lead role in Seth Grahame-Smith’s Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.  At one point it looked as if Natalie Portman was going to play the role of Lizzie Bennett as she struggles in love but is more than able to deal with the hordes of living dead who are roaming the English countryside.  Grahame-Smith’s book uses the same story as Jane Austen’s source material but ups the ante by throwing in zombies and ninjas whose job it is to protect some of the elite members of society.  Charlie St. Cloud director Burr Steers is set to direct the film from a script which is still credited to David O. Russell when he looked likely to direct the film.  Steers will probably re-draft the script himself before production begins.  Before that Collins will be seen in fantasy adventure The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones before heading to Love, Rosie with Sam Claflin and Tamsin Egerton.  Source – Variety

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email:
