Marcel L’Herbier: Fabricating Dreams

The Fashion in Film Festival returns in May 2013 with its fourth edition with Marcel L’Herbier: Fabricating Dreams. Dedicated to the French director’s work from both the silent and sound eras, the festival offers a new showcase of fashion, architecture and design against a Parisian theme.

Spanning the BFI Southbank, Barbican, The Horse Hospital, Ciné Lumière and Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, the festival will be bringing together L’Herbier’s work collectively for one of the first times in the UK.

The chosen subject for this year’s programme is not only an innovative film maker but also helped shape film criticism and theory while striving to promote the work of similar artists, and came to be a spokesman for French cinema.

For full details of the festival and it’s programme, please visit the Fashion in Film homepage HERE

The 4th Fashion in Film Festival runs from the 10th to the 19th of May 2013.
