Quentin Tarantino Returning For More Western

Quentin Tarantino, having won an Oscar earlier this year for his brilliant Django Unchained, seems to have caught the Western bug.  Appearing on The Jay Leno show to promote the Django Unchained graphic novel, Tarantino told the chat show host that while he wouldn’t be revealing what the film is about he did divulge that the film would be another Western.  Tarantino said that having taught himself how to shoot the genre with Django he couldn’t wait to get back in the saddle and make another one.  Little is really known about the film at this point other than QT insisting that it is not a sequel to Django.  There were rumours that the director would be returning to another of his previous efforts with a Kill Bill sequel but it seems that Westerns are very much top of QT’s to do list.  Source – The Hollywood Reporter and The Jay Leno Show

Alex Moss Editor

Alex Moss’ obsession with film began the moment he witnessed the Alien burst forth from John Hurt’s stomach. It was perhaps ill-advised to witness this aged 6 but much like the beast within Hurt, he became infected by a parasite called ‘Movies’. Rarely away from his computer or a big screen, as he muses on Cinematic Deities, Alex is “more machine now than man. His mind is twisted and evil”. Email: alex.moss@filmjuice.com
